(Winnipeg - June 14, 2010) Canwest Global Communications Corp. (“Canwest” or the “Company”) announced today that Ms. Margot M. Micallef has tendered her resignation from the Company's Board of Directors effective immediately.
Ms. Micallef joined the board in January 2009 and was a member of Canwest’s Special Committee overseeing the Company’s financial restructuring. The remaining Board members Derek Burney, David Drybrough, and David Kerr are Independent directors actively involved in the Company’s financial restructuring activities.
