Diversity Task Force

To ensure these goals are met, Canwest has developed a Diversity Task Force, comprised of representatives from across our business. The objective of the Diversity Task Force is twofold: to ensure that all our local programming, including news, public affairs, documentaries and special events reflects the reality of all of our communities; and to develop a diversity plan and incorporate its principles in hiring, training and retention of employees.

Canwest Internships for Students with Permanent Physical Disabilities

The Canwest Internships for Students with Permanent Physical Disabilities are a series of five (5) internships designed to encourage and aid Canadian talent in establishing or furthering a career in the Canadian broadcast industry. These annual internships reflect Canwest’s commitment to the diversity of talent and perspectives that comprise our ever-changing Canadian culture.
